By accessing the 'Elder Care Skills Certification' website (hereinafter referred to as the 'School'), you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

  1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable training materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title and under this license you may not:
  2. modify or copy the training materials;
  3. use the training materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  4. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s web site;

ECSC provides competency-based certification. Our certificate confirms competency in elder caregiving knowledge and skills. Job seekers should still expect potential employers to conduct independent identity verification, employment history verification and other standard background checks that are appropriate to their jurisdiction and role requirements. Our certification complements- but does not replace- standard hiring practices.

4. Limitations

In no event shall the School be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the School’s website, even if the School or an authorised agent of the School has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Certification from the School does not constitute professional licensing and does not replace any statutory requirements that may apply in specific jurisdictions.
