RECOGNITION OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE (RPE) PATHWAY

For experienced caregivers (with 3+ years elder caregiving work experience)

✓ Online skills verification may be required

✓ Estimated duration from application to certificate is 4 to 6 weeks

NB. Those caregivers who are accepted for enrolment into the RPE Pathway and are identified as having significant gaps in knowledge or skills will receive specialised training and further assessment AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.

For new or aspiring elder caregivers

✓ Enrol for Foundations in Elder Care Practice (Level 1) course

✓ Course is delivered by 8 weekly online lessons

✓ Structured learning

✓ Self-paced learning

✓ Students are allowed up to six months to complete the course. The average time required to complete the course is 10 weeks
